September Weekend Events #2

Post date: Sep 26, 2011 8:17:54 PM

Last Saturday, I was on a mission to donate money to help the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami victims. I threw in $11. Many great performers playing such as RAKUGO-KAI, Lulla Miyuki with her band, and others.

As I watched the performance, I see people throwing money in the box. I even grabbed a few origamis. Photos of this event are posted at my Facebook fan page.

Reni's Maid Show (September 2011)

Photo taken by Jefferies, not mine!

1 month ago since Reni's Maid Night event (The blog was written in this website but removed by Insectduel's staff due to harassment and excessive flaming), I thought I would never get over the images of me drinking tequila. I had to attend even without having my mom with me since the Flushing concert. I constantly still a bit angry but felt calmed about it. When I heard about last month's events from someone else, that person is ALSO one of the tequila victims and talked about it. Now, since I didn't practice much on the song, I sing one of the original Japanese songs Sukiyaki. Even Lulla Miyuki recreated the song when she sang at the Port Authority Charity Concert on that Saturday. I have to use the lyrics sheet.

I may have sang it good but only because I learned how to sing but singing without the lyrics sheet would be better. Besides, I sucked at Everlong at the Boston Maid show last July. After my singing, I have no aggression in me anymore. Felt really calmed among myself.

I may or may not have the heart to trust Reni again, but I gave Reni one of my gifts on a September which is the month on her birthday. It's the gift I never opened since I won 3rd place at the karaoke contest at New York Anime Picnic. USUALLY, I give birthday gifts to Japanese women on the month on their birthday. So far is only 4 of them. Anyway, Reni knows I'm very respective.

Her next maid show is October 22nd and I am not sure if I want to go or not! It's best not to go until I am ready to do so. Especially the Washington D.C. show which I'm planning to go in the future.
