*SPOILER ALERT* Colors, A Dance Performance

Post date: Nov 15, 2010 9:49:42 PM

After the 3PM Service at Times Square Church before I head to Colors A Dance Performance, I went back home to grab my $10 out of the jar and then headed to Manhattan. I have to spend a few hours at the Apple store browsing the internet. And then joyriding the Q Train from 5th Avenue to Canal Street and from Canal Street to 57th Street, 7th Avenue. Anyway, I met some people on Facebook (for identity reasons, names will NOT be used. And because of Insectduel's Board was flagged last month for a family name violation.) talking and waiting for the show to start. I was sitting on the front row. The one on the 2nd seat from the left with the shaved head is me.

THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT!!! If you haven't seen it yet before November 21st, don't look. There are the programs mentioned in this 2nd image. Dancers and Choreographer names will not be mentioned here.

Program A

1. Remember my name

2. Black & Gold

3. Hljomalind

4. Sweet Chariot

5. I'm Normal

6. Hoppipolla

Intermission

Program B

1. Out of Control

2. Can't buy me love

3. 1 2 3 4

4. Miss Otis Regrets

5. Tourmaline

6. Have a nice way / The Face

The images are taken by Dara Phan. Since photography is prohibited in the dance studio unless they are licensed.

Each program, the dancers doing different performances. Such as lyrical to jazz to tap, blends the choreographer's dance style with the personality behind each dancer.

I could not spoil you all on the top page of this blog. But this one in this image above is, "Can't buy me love" is one of my best outfits and performances I ever seen. And is choreographed by Fuyuko Nakamura & Yuko Ikeshita. The last one "Have a nice way / The Face" is also a good performance.

These dancers did a wonderful performance last night. Especially Mika, Fuyuko, and Chieli. Colors, A Dance Performance will also be taken place Sunday November 21, 2010 if you haven't seen it yet or have the urge to see it again. But to me, I'm seeing this ONLY ONE TIME! I had time talking to people met on Facebook after the show ended especially to them about themselves in life. I hope you're not watching this blog Christina because you should have come with me instead of being at 6PM Service at Times Square Church.

Thanks to one of my Facebook friends (Again, names will not be used due to identity reasons. But you do know who I am talking to?) who have a digital camera, this is taken before I left the building. I didn't feel like staying too much to due to the expiration of the MetroCard before midnight. This image is added and most of the images has been removed and reduced into links instead.

I have plans for this week, Friday is Meg Okura's Jazz Concert and Saturday is Reni's Maid Show.
