Kim Yu-Na wins Gold

After her world record and beating her old one, Kim Yu-Na wins the Gold Medal for Ladies Figure Skating at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. What a shame, what a shame for Insectduel. I didn't like the fact that either one of them didn't stand a chance. Including the last contender, Mirai Nagasu. I thought she might do well and earn the Bronze. Nagasu is in 4th place. I guess Superstars like Kim Yu-Na deserves the gold after being a famous celebrity.

Silver Medalist Mao Asada was kicking ass and didn't held back in the entire competition But it isn't good enough to beat Kim Yu-Na. Too bad. I really like to see Japan to earn at least 1 Gold Medal at the Winter Olympics.

Bronze Medalist Joannie Rochette did so well too. Since her mom passed away, she is really digging it. Also didn't held back.

One of Insectduel's favorites, 16 year old American skater Mirai Nagasu. Mirai finished in 4th place at the Olympics, skating two clean programs with a final score of 190.15. She could have done better in the Short Program if she would have completed a combination. At least she kept going in the short program when her nose is bleeding. Unfortunately, it's not good enough to make it to the podium. But I am still proud of Mirai for her performance and effort. I wish her a best of luck for her career.

And finally, Rachael Flatt, Ended up in 7th place.
