Visitors Reminded to Sign into the Main Office

Visitors to DISHS are kindly reminded to sign in at the Main Office between 7:50am and 2:40pm whenever they visit the school.  This is a small thing we can all do to help ensure the safety of our students.  

We will continue to evaluate all of our school security procedures throughout the coming months and will take a reasoned and thoughtful approach to changes that need to be made.  As a school, we will attempt to strike the correct balance between increased school security and schools that are welcoming and inviting to those we serve: students, parents, and the community.  It will be an evolving process, and we welcome continued input and participation from the broader school community.
