Democracy in Action: Students Speak at the Maine State House

On Wednesday, February 10th five students in the Marine Studies Pathway traveled to the State House to give testimony to the Marine Resources Committee in support of proposed changes to the student apprentice program. They received a first hand lesson in civics, learning important skills that they can use to participate in the future of their community and the fishing industry.  You can watch videos of each student's testimony, below.
