Post date: Jun 20, 2011 1:48:43 PM

During the 2007-08 school year, DISHS identified six School-wide Expectations based on feedback from students, parents, the community, and staff.  Three of the expectations were labeled "Academic" and three others were labeled "Social" of Civic."  The school's Social and Civic School-wide Expectations are:

School Wide Expectation #4: Students Contribute to a Safe and Respectful School Environment

School Wide Expectation #5: Students Demonstrate Independence, Responsibility, and a Sense of Ownership.

School Wide Expectation #6: Students are Responsible Citizens

In addition to assessing individual students progress in meeting DISHS's School-wide Academic Expectations, DISHS monitors the entire school's progress in meeting its Social and Civic School-wide Expectations.  View the 2011 Social & Civic SWE Progress report.
