Introduction

Students will be doing a month long Owl Study throughout the month of October. There will be three to four lessons.

Essential Question

Why owls owls are so wise and magical in our books and movies?

Procedure

• Watch Video

• Fold down the top part of the paper towel.

• Add Washi tape to the body of the owl.

• Trace wing template to folded paper and cut out.

• Fold down a narrow edge of wings and glue onto owl.

• Glue on eyes.

• Cut out triangle for the beak and glue on owl.

• Add feathers to the top.

• Enjoy your magical owls.

Wipe down tables and push in chairs.
