Description

Draw an amazing poppy flower using simple basic shapes and shading.

Materials

• Paper

• Pencil 

• Fine Black Marker/Pen

• Color - Optional  (Paint, Crayons, or Markers)

Steps

• Watch the video. 

• Observe the images closely.

• Begin by laying out your poppy flower by starting with the center.

• Slowly add each petal one at a time.

• Add your stem and leaves: Note how you want your leaves to overlap on an additional flower bud stem.

• Finalize and refine your drawing.

• Outline in fine black marker, pen, or pencil.

• Add in all the details.

• Shade.

• Share your work!
