Introduction

You will be focusing on the pioneering Japanese American artist Ruth Asawa.

Her work was inspired by the beauty around her: spider webs, wings of insects, and drops of water found in the garden on the farm where she spent her childhood.

You will continue your study biomorphic forms and create  paper chain and tin foil sculpture.
