Description

Our Academy Stars will make these beautiful coffee filter poppies. 

Materials

• Coffee Filters 

• Pencil 

• Black Marker/Crayon/Pen

• RED Color( Paint, Crayons, or Markers)

• Black Paper

• Newspaper

• Green Paper

• Glue

• Scissors

Steps

1.  Color two or three coffee filters red. You can use watercolor, markers, or crayons.

2. As your filters dry, cut out a medium size black circle and a smaller one from newspaper.

3. Create a fringe around the circles.

4. Cut out two or three leaves

5. Glue the newspaper circle to the black circle. Glue the black circle to one red coffee filter and add two or more. Finally add the leaves.

6. Ruffle the edges and display.
