Students will be introduced to the art of scientific Illustration. They will be exploring ways to communicate complex information through a variety of visual presentations.
Finish the virus warm up exercise.
Students will have two handouts. One is a labeled example of a human cell and the other is mine example of a human cell.
Use a cardboard circle to trace a circle on your paper. Begin designing your visual interpretation of a human cell. It is time to think about your composition and how you want to personalize your illustration and still be able to communicate the unique parts of the cell.
Draw in pencil and outline in fine sharpie.
Students: Will bring their own pencil, eraser, and Sharpies
