As an extension to their deer studies, students will be designing and creating a mystical interpretation of a deer.
Review and discuss the examples.
Students will create a large oval for the adult deer. They will draw a second and smaller oval slightly below the first.
Students will add a neck and ears to the deer as well as all the details: eyes, mouth, inside of ears and other embellishments.
Students will choose the colors that feel special to them and color their deer. They can add flourishes of pine boughs and touches of gold or silver.
