Students will be doing a month long Owl Study throughout the month of October. There will be three to four lessons.
Pause: Use the Jamboard to create a class schema chart
Pause: Read White Owl, Barn Owl and add new knowledge to the schema chart.
Watch Video: Demonstration on how to make paint to look like feathers.
Pass out paint trays, brushes, and paper. There is one group of materials for each Kindergarten class.
Paint one color at a time: Brown, Black, and White.
Don't mix the colors try to keep the trays nice for the next class on Mondays. Friday's class will have to prep their own trays. See Photo below.
Put finished painted papers on the dry rack. TIP: pick one side of the dry rack for your class. It helps to separate each class this way so you don't come back next week
