Recording who did what for your addon is important for several reasons.

  • Motivation - People are more motivated to help by seeing their names acknowledged for their work.

  • Talent search - Other modders (even yourself later on) can look up who did what for potential collaboration or other help.

  • Accurate information - It's simply cool to see how many people it takes to put together addons.
