Excelling- STEM or STEAM Advisory Council reviews sustainability plans at least yearly to identify areas of growth and need. The Advisory Council reviews student academic progress and regional market data analysis reports. The Advisory Council has a plan and monitoring mechanism to sustain STEM or STEAM culture.

MAP provides data that serves as a benchmark in grades K-5 to determine academic growth and achievement.
Since beginning the STEM implementation process, Science achievement data on the Georgia Milestones assessment has increased by 9.3% for students scoring developing and above. In 2020-2021, we had our greatest number of students scoring developing and above at 76% which was 11% higher than the state average.
For the 2020-2021 school year, Bartow County implemented the MAP assessment from NWEA which also has a science assessment. Since Fall 2020 when we started, the number of students scoring at or above the National Norm mean RIT score has increased from 45% to 52%.
