STEM Journaling Professional Development

Cherri Nix, GA STEM Program Manager presented a session on Journaling with the STEM Sub-Committee. This presentation will be redelivered to the staff in December 2022.

STEM Journaling Professional Development: Staff Redelivery

During the 2022-2023 school year, the STEM sub-committee determined journaling to be an area of focus. School administrators reached out to the state for guidance and assistance on professional development for teachers. The following was redelivered to staff on January 10, 2023. A sign in sheet is included to show documentation of attendance. The presentation and handouts provided to staff are also attached as evidence.

In January 2023, Mrs. Meadows delivered a STEM overview to the entire staff. It was realized that over the years we have had several new staff members join our school that may ne be familiar with the STEM history. This is to help with our sustainability and moving forward with state certification.
