This film, which was shot about 20 minutes from where I grew up, is a fairly mediocre zombie movie. The plot is almost non-existent, the acting ranges from okay to horrible, and the world makes no sense. But lets talk about the zombies!
The Deep River Zombies are your average design of a basic undead. Skin is either greener or pale, flesh is ripped open and rotten, and they have the occasional hobble to their gait. They do however possess the ability to run, something not always seen in zombies, and can be pretty intimidating. 7/10 spook.
The danger of these zombies does go beyond that of a basic zombie. For zombies, in most cases, their physical strength is much weaker than when they were alive. They move slowly, they are easily batted off one on one, however in this situation not only can the zombies be seen at a full sprint, but in one scene a single zombie can easily lift up a character on their own. Because of this, the danger will be a 6.
The transformation is awfully low, these zombies looking very basic, and will receive a 2/10 for transform.
These zombies are only ever referred to as just that, zombies. As such they will be given the basic zombie rating of a 9/10.
