Scorpion

Scorpion is an imposing figure. Appearing most often as a muscled man in yellow and black, his eyes blazing a fluorescent gold. However, held behind the mask is a blazing skeletal head. His gruff voice, and catch phrase "Get over here" adds to the effect.

Hanzo Hasashi was already considered the most powerful of the Shirai Ryu, a ninja clan who branched off from Sub Zero’s Lin Kuei. Skilled with katanas, various ninjitsu, and his iconic chain or rope kunai. However, after his undead return, he is given Hellfire abilities such as teleportation, enhancing his weaponry with hellfire, fire breath, immunity to Hellfire, and at the peaks of his power, to summon other Hellspawn, regenerate from complete body annihilation, and increase his combat abilities to face off against deities such as Raiden. However, with an increase in power through rage and vengeance, he suffers a heavy drawback, this being that he can be lost in the power given to him, becoming uncontrollably savage. Because of this weakness, and his abilities never reaching incredibly far beyond melee fighting prowess, I leave Scorpion at 9.

With his rebirth, Hanzo becomes nothing more than a fiery skeleton, even being encased in his skin most often. Because of the fiery skeleton form he can use, he receives a 3, but the transformation physically with Hanzo is very low.

Scorpion is a name I would expect anyone even slightly familiar with videogames to know, however excluding that, he may reach fewer than the majority. While the name is intimidating itself, I like the fact it is based on the Shirai Ryu’s emblem of the same creature.
