In the 2009 adaptation Jason returns in a story similar to Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), featuring his sack head and forest dweller life style. During this time he strikes back at two separate groups of hooligans in a fun and decently well made remake.
Jason has been reverted to a less mangled state, resembling his original design in Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981). While similar, he is given a slightly revamped look, featuring a hoodie and tank top. His machete is very long in this film, making him seem more intimidating, and the mask is more grizzled and worn, similar to its look in the later films of the original series. He will be given an 8 in spook.
Danger is much lower than his extreme super powered abilities featured in some films, now returning to what Jason should be like, a big huge kid during a temper tantrum, with extreme durability. We see here that Jason is not extremely strong or fast, but he is extremely tough, and well versed in a variety of weapons. Jason levels out at a 7 once again.
The transform will be a 4, one higher than the original Sack Head Jason, as the deformities are stepped up a notch in this incarnation, and he is already balding.
Finally his name is Jason Vorhees, and will remain at an 8.
