The widest and purest channel of perception in Dumas is sensory perception, the first thing that comes to mind - physical sensations. Such a person knows how to strive for coziness and comfort, unhurriedness, preservation of health and beauty, knows a lot about it. More often does not like pain, tension. 1) Base - Si  (Introverted Sensing)

Dumas is the most sensitive personality type. First of all, he perceives the world through his main lens - it is Sensorics of Comfort, that is why he describes it as a source of various physical sensations. The SEI is inclined to evaluate the quality and composition of materials, the comfort and aesthetics of various objects, and to describe the internal properties, consistencies, and physical parameters of anything (dimensions, colors, shades, aromas, flavors, tastes, durability, etc.). Dumas has a relatively easy grasp of kinesthetic sensations, body needs, comfort assessment, and household matters. There are household tasks and a heightened attention to the fine details and particulars of the material world. SEI is an aesthete with a keen sense of functionality and practicality. He creates his environment in such a way that it is possible to relax in it. He is sure that the condition of good health is a comfortable arrangement of the room, warmth and coziness in it, pleasant bed linen and calm mood, good music that creates peace of mind. SEI pays attention to small, even insignificant trinkets, which he successfully combines. SEI everywhere looking for the beautiful. Dumas innate thriftiness and care for others. Around himself and for his loved ones creates coziness and comfort. Although under the influence of melancholic temperament looks lazy, but as soon as he starts working, the work is done qualitatively and at a fast pace. The talent of the master is visible in each of his practical actions. Great sense of all beautiful things. A fine sense of the physical world. As an aesthete, original and tastefully selects his closet. SEI is one of those who when buying clothes willingly take items in his hands, feeling them and determining the quality. SEIs have a strong connection to and ability to recognize internal physical states in themselves and others. 2) Creative - Fe (Extraverted Ethics)

A strong Ethic of Emotions leads Dumas to analyze the world and people through the lens of atmosphere, moods, mental states and the emotions they evoke. Able to exhibit aritism, emotional diversity, a wide palette of moods, and sensuality. A diplomat deeply and subtly feels the world of emotions, is able to vividly express all their shades and semitones. Perceives, adopts and reproduces other people's states, has tasks to parody, acting skills. He pays attention not so much to the essence of phenomena as to presentation, aesthetics, packaging. The diplomat is able to immerse people in his mood, to manage the emotional background in the group, to create a romantic, peaceful or on the contrary stormy and expressive atmosphere. He tends to express his thoughts beautifully and poetically.

SEI is characterized by friendliness, cheerfulness. He avoids unpleasant and conflict situations. He maintains friendly relations, gets along with everyone, his delicacy, sociability and tactfulness allow him to compromise. SEI perceives the world emotionally. Years remembers experienced sensations and can describe them as vividly as if they had just happened. He can recognize and describe a long-experienced smell and taste. What he heard from others, can immediately retell more colorfully and engagingly. Being an introvert, opens up fully only in the circle of loved ones and at such moments with his cheerfulness and ease captivates listeners. In romantic games behaves naturally, he is a master at creating a special atmosphere, because he is a sensitive person with a high degree of empathy. If the relationship is doubtful, he convinces his partner and insinuates himself that nothing bad has happened. He is good at sensing changes in the behavior and mood of loved ones. Easily adapts to the interlocutor, maintaining a conversation on any topic. Responsive and pleasant in communication. In disputes and clarification of relations does not enter and even removed, because he wants to be in friendly relations with everyone. A positive emotional atmosphere is essential to their sense of well being and inner peace, and they either try to create that atmosphere by directly influencing their surrounding, or by simply removing themselves from the situation or people that in their view is the cause of a negative emotional environment. In the former case they often use humor to lighten the atmosphere by cracking jokes and lighthearted teasing. A SEI can also take the role of a “clown” of sorts to ensure all people are emotionally light and comfortable. SEIs are also capable of creating an intimate open atmosphere where others can be comfortable sharing their emotions or talking about their problems. SEIs also tend to mirror and heighten the emotions experienced by the group dynamically.

3) Role - Ni (Introverted Intuition)

In an unfamiliar environment SEI try to plan their actions, avoid fuss, confusion. However, they do not always succeed in long-term forecasts. SEI lacks diversity of fictions and imagination, so most often he copies the ideas of others. He has no inherent talent to predict how the situation will develop, how his fate will turn out. Behaves somewhat hysterically in the face of uncertainty and stress and does not know how to find the right way to eliminate them. He does everything at a pace convenient for himself. SEIs are able to turn their attention to longer-term implications and personal imagination but only for brief periods; their natural preference is to concentrate on the immediate surroundings and sensations, or on the job at hand. Long term plans are often perceived as just as real as the surrounding world for the SEI. This can get the SEI into trouble when things don’t work out as planned, leaving the SEI bewildered as to how things turned out how they did.

4) Painful - Te (Extraverted Logic)

Dumas' weakest point is Business Logic. First, it indicates that categories such as “technology”, “efficiency”, “optimization”, “benefit”, “automatization” are analyzed by him with difficulty, not long, and are taken into account last. Secondly, it is often expressed in the devaluation of career development, business acumen, pragmatic and dispositive approach; it is difficult to make a fair price for his services. As a consequence - his attention is often focused in the sphere of creativity, creating comfort, emotional atmosphere, aesthetic design, bodily pleasures, but never reaches the evaluation of efficiency, building effective strategies to achieve goals, finding new ways to optimize technical processes. Simply put, Dumas is not useful where it is necessary to be enterprising, to calculate logistics and efficiency, to evaluate profit and loss, to control the quality of labor and prevent risks, to debug or automate any technological process.

SEI is not a businessman. Before starting work, he needs his surroundings to conform to his order. His ability to work is affected by unfavorable attitudes of others and excessive tension in the team. SEI lacks determination, he often doubts, postpones decisions. He lacks common sense in money expenditures. SEIs try to stick to developed technologies and are unlikely to invent new ones. Needs tactful help on the “what to do?” question. He do not like to force others to do something, he would rather do everything himselve. It is difficult for him to give intense business activity, it is difficult to be mobile, dynamic for a long time. If the work is of little interest to him, does not promise any benefit, may not be active. It is difficult for him to show perseverance, to defend the interests of the case. His efficiency depends on his mood. Avoids necessary but boring work. SEIs can be skeptical of beliefs, arguments, and actions that are based on external sources of information or oppose the SEI’s values system. SEI always feels that “there is much more” to dry facts and statistics.

5) Suggestive - Ne (Extraverted Intuition)

Also valuable for SEI is information on Intuition of Possibilities. This function is weak in him, but information on them is very desirable. In life, it manifests itself in such a way that it is difficult for SEI to give fantasizing, generation of ideas, initiative, it is hard to bring variety and the spirit of novelty. Also, because of the characteristic immersion in current issues (“here and now”), it is not easy for him to stand back and assess the situation in the long term, to dream, to imagine the future development. SEI is a curious person. SEIs have great respect and admiration for people who are always pursuing something new and different and are not tied down to material things. He enjoys listening to stories about something mysterious. Boring, unattractive and uninteresting people stress him out. SEI is inspired by intelligent conversations that inspire his confidence in the future. He needs to identify the connection between the patterns involved. Then he will know for himself what needs to be done. SEIs are gullible, unsure of the future, of their capabilities, and love to read fiction. They gladly respond to new ideas, like to receive new information, “something new”. Often believe that they can do a lot, although it is not always possible.

6) Activating  - Ti (Introverted Logic)

Also valuable for SEI is information on Structural Logic (Order). It is difficult to build logical algorithms and schemes, create graphs and tables, categorize and organize information. Systems with many elements can be confusing - it is hard to take into account the simultaneous impact of different factors. Therefore, SEI gratefully accepts care and assistance in these areas. Being well trained, they can work professionally with computers, with calculations. However, in complex situations involving laws, formalities, systematizing and organizing new facts, SEIs need help and support. A good gift for an SEI is one that tells about new possibilities. It could be a computer, or a science fiction book, or a philosophical book offering a general theory of being. SEIs like smart people who can find ways out of difficult situations.

SEIs seek clarity in their system of beliefs and understanding. This can lead to them compulsively questioning or simply having a thirst for gaining knowledge. SEIs enjoy entertaining new concepts and being included in philosophical discussions where new concepts and systems of thought are introduced and developed.

7) Ignoring - Se (Extraverted Sensing)

SEIs prefer to guide others by providing individual rewards and helping satisfy the needs of specific people that hold meaning in their lives rather than through direct leadership or issuing directives. They avoid confrontation, but become fierce and unbending for brief periods of time when they are fully unavoidable. SEIs are not inherently driven to seize power. SEI do not succumb to willful pressure. Without showing aggression, calmly and ethically able to defend their interests. They do not impose their will on anyone, but they will not allow their territory to be overrun. SEIs are adept at perceiving fights over power of a confrontational nature around them and are able to resist them or even actively participate in them if that is seen as unavoidable. However they see no point in giving these power struggles priority over their own sense of comfort and well-being.

8) Background - Fi (Extraverted Logic)

SEI easily build relationships with people without opening their hearts to the first person they meet. They have a good sense of when to use their charm. Do not like “sudden movements”. Diplomatic, can perfectly establish comfort in a close environment. With people are friendly, attentive and participative. Do not criticize others themselves and do not like when other people are criticized in front of them. In the team take a position of “golden mean”. Are able to gently adjust to the interlocutor. Do not see the point in the empty fuss and waste of energy. In an extreme situation show the will and care for others. In everyday, domestic situations they strive for smooth, pleasant relations with people, they are enduring, patient and tolerant. SEIs are quite adept at understanding the interactions in personal bonds between two individuals, even in the absence of an obvious external emotional expression; but they are inclined to regard them as of lesser importance, and less interesting, than the broader emotional interactions in the context of a larger group. Traditional morality is often associated with notions of right and wrong. As a kind of mediator, SEI avoids such judgments. 

Together, the two main perceptual lenses work in such a way that the SEI perceives the world through the prism of bodily sensations, describes it by going into the smallest details and particulars, and analyzes what is perceived through aesthetics and emotions (epithets, adjectives, dramatization). Thus, the Diplomat is most sensitive to coziness, comfort, amenities, gastronomy, beauty, atmosphere, moods, and everything that can contain emotional and bodily pleasure.

Thus, an SEI is a born aesthete, gourmet, hedonist, massage therapist, cook, fashion designer, actor, doctor, nutritionist, veterinarian, psychologist or media employee. Like no one else, he is able to deeply understand the needs and aesthetics of the human body, to penetrate into the details of bodily sensations and moods, to show care, artistry, to create a beautiful, comfortable and cozy space, to be an empathic interlocutor and emotionally defuse the situation. And, of course, to teach others to enjoy life!
