The widest and clearest channel perceives information about emotional background, fun, joy. Such people may be well able to organize holidays, gatherings, perhaps with a variety of delicious food. 1) Base - Fe (Extraverted Ethics)

Hugo (Enthusiast) is the most enthusiastic personality type. First of all, perceives the world through the Ethics of Emotions, and therefore analyzes the world and people through the prism of atmosphere, moods, mental states and emotions that they cause. Able to display artistry, emotional diversity, a wide palette of moods and sensuality. Enthusiast deeply and subtly feels the world of emotions, is able to vividly express all their shades and semitones. Perceives, adopts and reproduces other people's states, has a predisposition to parody, acting skills. In speech, to achieve a stronger effect, often uses hypertrophying, exaggerating or downplaying the meaning of “extreme” formulations. Draws attention not so much to the essence of phenomena as to presentation. Hugo is able to immerse people in his mood, to manage the emotional background in the group, to create a romantic, peaceful or on the contrary turbulent and expressive atmosphere. He differs from other sociotypes by his vitality and desire to see only positive things in everything. By his presence he is able to transmit joy and positive emotions to others, defusing the situation and raising the mood. Wherever the ESE appears, the mood of people changes, and an informal, liberated atmosphere is formed, followed by fun, laughter, and jokes. As a positivist, he avoids communicating with gloomy people, with those who cannot joke, who complain, criticize others, cursing fate, the government. He is sociable, mobile. He needs to be surrounded by people, to see only positive aspects in them, ignoring the negative. Observes and catches the slightest changes in the mood of other people. Each emotional manifestation of the ESE gives sound. ESE's speech is expressive, it contains many exclamatory sentences, bright designations. ESEs are predominantly in a good mood. They bring emotional ignition to any company, try to inspire, to raise the mood of others, to provide emotional support. Active, optimistic people. Well feel the mood of other people. Negative emotions are able to restrain for some time. Can not act without emotional contact with the interlocutor. Can raise the mood, cheer up. Emotions change dramatically: then cheerful and friendly, then fiery and angry. The ESE is quick to recognize and respond to passion and emotional involvement, stimulating it where there is none and fueling it where there is. He is well aware of his own and others’ passions and tastes and likes to do and say things that stimulates and gives expression to these passions. The ESE likes to see people become lively and animated and show what they feel without thinking first. The ESE equally expects others to let out their negative emotions (despair, anger, sadness) in periods of distress, since he knows keeping them inside can only aggravate bitterness and discontent. He likes to playfully personalize discussion of topics by telling stories and sharing anecdotes drawn from his past. The ESE sees reality through the prism of the emotional atmosphere around him, which is mainly, though not exclusively, influenced by the surrounding people and their moods. He will always have much to say about the “vibe” given off by various sensory stimuli. He is not at all hesitant about steering the emotional environment in the direction he sees fit. He’ll liven up the atmosphere with jokes if it’s too gloomy, or get people down to business if they’re being too frivolous. The ESE makes inquiries into people’s states based on cues given by their expressions. The ESE will take great satisfaction in interacting with people who are receptive to emotional activation.

2) Creative - Si (Introverted Sensing)

A strong Sensoric of Comfort leads Hugo to think of the visible world as a source of various physical sensations. The enthusiast is inclined to evaluate the quality and composition of materials, the comfort and aesthetics of various objects, and to describe the internal properties, consistencies, and physical parameters of anything (dimensions, colors, shades, aromas, tastes, sounds, etc.). Hugo has a relatively easy grasp of kinesthetic sensations, bodily needs, comfort assessment, and domestic matters. ESE is inherent in the perception of the beauty of the world around him, strongly developed sensory abilities. He is an indispensable organizer of holidays and not only at home. His house is always cozy and comfortable, even on weekdays and afternoons he likes to create a festive atmosphere. ESE's favorite topics of conversation are food, culture, art, books, clothes, family. ESE does not blindly follow the latest fashion trends, but chooses clothes that fit him. As an aesthete, and lover of beauty, appreciates the appearance of others. His indirect hint of a person's taste is manifested in attitude, advise and recommend how to dress and what to change in appearance. Can give something beautiful from his closet or specially buy. ESEs are excellent in matters of nutrition, health, comfort. Have a good taste. It is very important for him to patronize his loved ones. Unexpected guests will not take them by surprise - it seems that the guests were waiting. Attentive to people, caring and hospitable. Knows how to create coziness from what is at hand. Very watchful of the well-being and health of his and his loved ones. Likes to make gifts, to give people pleasant things. An excellent organizer of recreation and festive events. The ESE is naturally good at organizing recreation, and getting people to chill out and enjoy themselves—but only does so when he sees a specific need for it, rather than initiating relaxing activities all the time. Neither does a meandering, leisurely pace suit his natural temperament; he can engage it only for a limited amount of time, since he knows there are always things to be done and people to see. ESEs are aware of and attuned to people’s tastes and personal preferences and they like to do things or give things to friends and family members that will let them enjoy themselves, such as creating a comfortable, clean, and spacious setting in the home, taking them out to do something they enjoy, or finding opportunities and people with whom they can pursue their hobbies. The ESE is always cognizant of what needs are going unfulfilled, and likes to find the most refreshingly straightforward way to meet them. He is frequently a master of the sensual arts, and takes joy in finding new and exciting ways to make sexual and otherwise pleasurable experiences even more intense. 

3) Role - Te (Extraverted Logic)

ESE presents himself as a business man. In a new environment, ESEs are oriented towards expediency of action. In situations where it is not known what to do, they use repeated attempts to find the right solution to achieve the desired result. They are not always able to evaluate the profitability of what they do. A lot of things can do with their own hands. Successfully engaged in practical activities. Strive for stability, high material standard of living. Long hesitate before making an important decision on a complex issue. Often overestimate their business abilities. Although he does not reach the top in business, but he is able to gradually move to profitable positions and earn good money. Successfully knows how to “sell” his work. Sometimes chooses manual work, which he performs qualitatively. ESE can not boast of economy, does not understand for what period there will be enough money. Often purchases are made by him spontaneously - saw, liked, bought. Sometimes, at first glance, the purchased item turns out not to be necessary or quickly becomes boring. ESEs feel a need to appear efficient, productive and knowledgeable in their endeavours, as long as that does not conflict with priorities set up by their base function, extroverted ethics. They are able to participate in discussions involving exchange of factual information, or involving decisions as to the most efficient actions to take, for relatively short times; their inclination is to either try to lighten up the atmosphere if they see it becoming too heavy, or to become emotionally agitated, revealing their frustration. In such situations, if attempts by the ESE to lighten up an atmosphere they see as too “business-like” are met with factual counter-arguments, the ESE tends to perceive that as emotional hostility and react accordingly.

4) Painful - Ni (Introverted Intuition)

The weakest side of ESE is the Intuition of Time. First, it shows that such categories as “the spirit of the epoch”, “historical preconditions”, “futurological forecasts”, “the meaning of being”, “the passage of time”, “the power of the moment” are analyzed by him with difficulty, briefly, and taken into account in the last place. Secondly, it is often expressed in the depreciation of theoretical considerations about the connection between the past and the future, as well as, such phenomena as ideal, dream, utopia. It is difficult to calculate and accurately predict the time spent on this or that activity (more often it seems that everything can be managed). It is not easy to choose a harmonious rhythm of life, to adapt to someone else's pace (more often it turns out to be quite a high pace).  As a consequence - he is often fussy, in a good sense “earthy”, focused on creating coziness, emotional atmosphere, aesthetic design, bodily pleasures. Simply put, Hugo is not useful where it is necessary to work with theoretical, abstract concepts, to think over projects for a long time with a long wait for results, to argue about prospects and history, to show cold-bloodedness and diligence.

ESE's life is rushed, he never has enough time because he is inept at managing it, planning time inappropriately. His daily schedule is usually overflowing with cases and duties, from one job takes on the next, often moves the planned. ESE can be overloaded with undone work. All waiting, standing in lines for him heavy torture, so ESE avoid using services that can not get now. Lives today, can not imagine how it is possible to transfer his desires for further indefinite time. Unable to model the future, he struggles to overcome periods of crisis. ESE has little awareness of the big picture of the situation. ESE is not always prepared for changes in environment and situation, he lacks integrity of perception of life. Need tactful help in planning their actions, maintaining the rhythm of life. Have a hard time with abrupt changes in plans and waiting. Difficult to calculate time. ESEs prefer to focus on immediate tasks, taking things as they come, rather than try to evaluate whether or not the task at hand will be very important in the longer run. They generally have a poor sense of how long things will take, and what the best amount of time to spend on things is. Therefore it is difficult for ESEs to stay on schedule without extensive (even total) pre-planning. ESEs are more confortable narrating events or stories, or making a point, on a sequential basis - “this happened, and then this, and then that” - since they are not confident that others will connect the dots as to how one event leads to the other, since the ESEs do not feel confident when doing that themselves. They perceive time in an undifferentiated manner: the past, present, and future are all perceived as being in or near the present. When talking about the future (especially one’s longer-term plans), ESEs treat it as if it were accessible today and often they are not aware of all the developments that must happen first, and how long those can take.

5) Suggestive - Ti (Introverted Logic) 

Also valuable for ESE is information on Structural Logic (Order). This function is weak, but information on it is highly desirable. In life it manifests itself in such a way that the Enthusiast finds it hard to build logical algorithms and schemes, create graphs and tables, categorize and organize information. Systems with many elements can be confusing - it is difficult to take into account the simultaneous impact of different factors. Therefore, he gratefully accepts care and help in these areas. ESE has difficulty seeing the interrelationships of facts and laws, his point of view in cases of complex situations can not justify, often confused in his reasoning. He has difficulty in analytical work. He needs people around him to be fair and honest. He believes that everything he says must be true. ESE needs a clear interpretation of information, with accurate explanations. ESEs enjoy learning new theories, respect rules. After good training, they can professionally use a computer, teach math, but they do not invent new rules. They have a hard time separating the main from the secondary, overloading themselves with things. Need help explaining laws, rules, formalities, systematization. They prefer guidelines to instructions. ESE will greatly admire people who can analyze everyday situations and put them in context, as well as introduce them to exciting new concepts or “research”. The ESE wants his actions to make sense, but is almost always too caught up in his emotions to make very methodical, introspective, and impersonal judgments. If he cannot find a source of certainty, he may become insecure and unable to act rationally. The ESE loves to learn about new things, and is especially intrigued when the teacher appears confident and knowledgeable.

6) Activating  - Ne (Extraverted Intuition)

Also valuable for ESE is information on Intuition of Possibilities (Creativity). It is difficult for the enthusiast to theorize, fantasize, generate ideas, it is hard to bring the diversity of ideas and the spirit of novelty. Because of his characteristic immersion in current issues (“here and now”), it is not easy for him to step back and assess the situation in the long term, to dream, to imagine future development, to sketch out options, to develop a long-term strategy.

ESEs are not sure about the future, in their abilities, they are grateful for help in revealing their abilities and prospects, for explaining the whole picture of the world, for a hint of a way out of a difficult situation. They like scientific books, surprises, “smart things”, “right” people. They love when there is variability in a situation, they love new ideas. ESEs deeply appreciate people who are full of ideas and imagination, and who give them a sense of connectedness to what is happening “out there in the world,” even if this information cannot be applied practically at the present moment. ESEs try to discover, and point out, the unexpected, funny and bizarre side of things, as long as it is in an emotionally-positive way (rather than dark and gloomy), and appreciate the company of people who do so easily.

7) Ignoring - Fi (Introverted Ethics)

ESEs can hold relationships to a decent standard. Making contacts with different people, they feel in their element. Susceptible to promising ideas that can be put into practice. Charming, disposable interlocutors. Someone's excessive activity can limit, saying jokingly: "Ask your conscience about it". From ESE can not be expected to express their own attitude to others. Expecting such a response, one is convinced of his sudden rudeness. Demanding an opinion about others, if he is not ready to express it himself, is like an attack on his inner world. The ESE cares very strongly about maintaining personal bonds with friends and family, but always does so by creating clear and colorful displays of affection. Such expressions include smiles, compliments, affectionate expressions, and the like. If he thinks attraction is present, he will try to bring it out into the open, since he believes that it is a person’s right (as well as a necessity of emotional well-being) to express and to realize his love in all its fullness. ESEs take for granted that feelings will result in external demonstrations of emotions and be welcomed gladly when expressed. For instance, ESEs will be inclined to regard a person’s lukewarm response to an enthusiastic greeting as lack of interest, or even hostility. Accordingly, ESEs have a good understanding of discussions or explorations of one’s own inner feelings regarding other individuals, but will become skeptical or bored if the style is too “matter-of-fact”.

8) Background - Se (Extraverted Sensing)

Their will is manifested in everyday life without unnecessary words. They are energetic, agile, caring, actively settling in space. Persistent and decisive in action, especially in an extreme situation. Strive for the respect of colleagues at work and just surrounding people. Often dress brightly. In an extreme situation behave energetically, decisively, not forgetting about moral standards and relations with people. In everyday, domestic situations feel themselves masters in their territory, show care, exercise power by soft means. Some ESEs will occasionally become very outspoken or intense, putting people on the spot (while usually maintaining a sense of humor about the situation) if they feel they are being too timid or dishonest. If emotionally excited ESEs will express themselves through confident physical gestures such as hearty laughter or song, tickling people, or giving smothering hugs. They will stop any physically invasive action if the other person asks them to — unless the person is secretly enjoying it.

Together, the two main lenses of perception work so that Hugo primarily evaluates the world through the prism of emotional experiences, moods and aesthetics, as well as bodily sensations. Thus, the Enthusiast is especially vividly manifested in the emotional and sensory care of people, where it is necessary to create a healthy climate and coziness, bring beauty, motivate, cheer up, “light up”.

Enthusiast is a natural actor, motivational trainer, artist, beauty expert and designer, “lighter person”, event host, manager, coach, public speaker, teacher or educator. Like no one else, he is able to infect people with his enthusiasm and encourage them to take action. Or create his own brand of clothing.
