Basic block Fi+Ne works on creating relationships and preserving relationships through different opportunities. It gives a deep understanding of the essence of human relations and ethical norms. A person is able to look for new opportunities to preserve his/her ethical picture of the world. Can find a way to treat others as the value system of a particular holder believes. If relations around are not as desired, the program of the type will find a way to get away from these relations, to avoid unnecessary collisions. Can see different ways of approaching people. Different opportunities to establish contacts between people. Can justify the actions of other people to maintain the same attitude to them.
1) Base - Fi (Introverted Ethics)
Dostoevsky (Humanist) is the most empathetic sociotype. First of all, he perceives the world through Ethics of Relationships, his main lens. Therefore, he describes the world and people in terms of ethics and morality. He is sensitive to the realm of human relationships, feelings, issues of good, evil and morality. It is natural for him to focus on the inner motivations and experiences of people (and his own). That is, the Humanist's perception is empathic, human-centered. For example, Dostoevsky is prone to lavishly issuing value judgments, like “This is always a decent, caring, reliable person, you can rely on him!”. Thus, the Humanist quite often demonstrates affectation, courtesy and etiquette in communication. Also, because of introversion, the Relationships Ethic manifests as a craving for empathy and self-reflection, and results in a desire to evaluate others through one's own thoughts and feelings. EII understands what the plan for the humane development of society should be, which includes how to guide people to the path of kindness, how to fight crime so that the world does not need prisons and barbaric punishments. The idealist wishes to see a humane society in which there are no lawbreakers, destroyers of public morality, by his behavior he is an example for others. In his environment he cares about the observance of moral norms, about the development of spirituality, realizing the true values of each person. In the ideal world of his imagination there is no crime, hatred and evil, harmony reigns in it. By character, he is an attentive, unobtrusive and calm person, and as a positivist, is able to find a common language even with the most intractable people. EII is a born connoisseur of people, recognizing the relationships and atmosphere between them. In communication does not show a negative attitude to anyone, with everyone tries to maintain equal and favorable relations. In the disagreements of other people does not interfere, he tries to avoid them, impartially calms disputants. He tries to understand the true causes of misunderstandings, to delve into the situation, to weigh the circumstances. Sure that every person can change. Seeing rude and inappropriate behavior of a person, in a calm atmosphere tries to give recommendations for appropriate behavior. People gladly turns to him, looking for his support and advice in the development of relationships. If he can't comfort or help another, he worries himself. He as an aristocrat - is cautious in relationships, not everyone allows to approach. The one who once deceived or betrayed him, does not completely exclude him from his circle of acquaintances, but assigns him a different status. It is important for him to make sure that the person is able to recognize his guilt. His main trait is humanism and sympathy for people. Have a good understanding of relationships between people. Listening to people, relieves their emotional tension. Does not store up evil in himself, forgives his offenders and ill-wishers. Subtly feeling human psychology, EII have, as a rule, good relations with people. Establishing relationships, they are each time directed to a specific person, are capable of empathy. Show interest in moral and philosophical problems. Can compromise for the sake of peace and harmony. Stable in their attachments. Sensitive to violations of humanism and justice. EIIs are very attuned to the psychological atmosphere of interaction and to their own feelings towards people and things. They treasure deep feelings of attachment and strive to deepen emotional bonds between people and harmonize relationships. When those people that the EII is close to suffer emotionally, the EII will do everything in her power to raise the emotional condition in the individual, often at the EII’s expense. EIIs are very capable of “sizing people up”. They rely heavily on their instincts to understand the inner feelings of an individual. They are very empathetic people and find it very easy to feel with others. This makes them very sensitive to the moods of people, and they treat them the way they want to be treated, that is, with respect.
2) Creative - Ne (Extraverted Intuition)
Strong Intuition of Possibilities (Creativity) encourages Dostoevsky to go beyond the description of the object itself, and to take into account its potential, possibilities, application options and ways of developing the situation. That is, in the perception of the Humanist, any object is placed in a broader phenomenal context. Especially actively EII uses Intuition of Possibilities when it is necessary to go through all possible motives and reasons of human actions and behavior. It is inclined to give out a lot of synonyms and clarifications, especially if the topic touches the inner world of a person. Thus, even everyday dialogs with Dostoevsky can take on the connotation of psychological research. EII is fascinated by the mysteries of human relationships, he spares no time to replenish his knowledge in this area. He has versatile interests and an openness to news. When his plans and ideals are destroyed, can become an unbearable demagogue and a grumpy person who closes in loneliness. Generates unusual ideas, able to realize several at once and choose the best one. In difficult situations finds an unconventional solution. Good at noticing alternatives and omissions in new endeavors. Intuition tells him what to expect from people, phenomena, events. He finds a way to get what he wants, using psychological methods, predicting possible reactions to their actions. EIIs have a natural understanding of people’s inner makeup and see what can be done with that makeup to bring them closer to ideals. EIIs have a very well-developed view of what people and relationships should be like and are able to help others reach those ideals. EIIs understand people very well. They often give good advice, and have a strong understanding of the inner workings of even the most complicated minds. They have well developed ideas concerning ideal emotional states for individuals, and always have advice as to how an individual can reach that ideal.
3) Role - Ti (Introverted Logic)
In an unfamiliar environment, EIIs rely on formalities, rules. They like short, clear formulations. Information of logical content is categorized with difficulty, it does not always reach comprehension. He tries to obey rules and instructions. EIIs are not easily able to abstract themselves from the human dimension and apply “cold” logic. When they try to do this, they easily become unsure if their reasoning is correct. EIIs feel that not everything can be classified under the system since everything has its unique individual attributes.
4) Painful - Se (Extraverted Sensing)
The weakest side of Dostoevsky is Volitional Sensorics (Force). First, it shows that categories such as “space”, “influence”, “power”, “authority” are analyzed by him with difficulty, not long, and are taken into account last. Secondly, it is often expressed in the devaluation of domineering behavior, the strategy of strength and appeal to status. It is difficult to show determination, quick reactions, willpower, organizational skills and initiative. All this makes him unsuitable in areas that require it (e.g. army, police, management). As a consequence, his ideas often remain “on paper” without moving into the active phase of practical realization and public resonance. Simply put, Dostoevsky is not useful where it is necessary to organize people, show leadership qualities, promote and scale a project. EII does not aspire to be a leader of the first plan. He realizes that a leader needs to act sharply and categorically, to fight back, to struggle, to justify his actions, which is not in his nature. EII is indecisive. Does not tolerate violence, so he does not force others to do what they do not want. Quite insecure, low-initiative. However, is able to make himself do more if it is expected of him. Impressionable and vulnerable, hard to bear rudeness. Can not put pressure on people, show aggressiveness. His kindness can be abused, as it is difficult for him to refuse. Manifestations of volitional pressure is painful for him. Not applying forceful methods of influence on others, he does not tolerate it in relation to himselve. EIIs are typically negligent of their surroundings and have difficulty keeping track of objects or constantly monitoring things and people around them. Outsiders often think the EII is oblivious to reality because they will often neglect basic needs. Although it is by no means necessary, this may also manifest itself as a general rejection or aversion to violence or force as a means or way of life.
5) Suggestive - Te (Extraverted Logic)
Also valuable for EII is information on Business Logic. This function is weak in him, but information on it is highly desirable. In life it manifests itself in such a way that it is difficult for the Humanist to determine the most effective actions, optimization, risk calculations, achievement of optimal efficiency. It is difficult to be economical and stewards of resources. Able to solve complex tasks, but does not know how to explain them to others. If he managed to do something, he can boast childishly. Demonstrates diligence, punctuality and discipline. Conscientious, although slow in doing specific work. EIIs like to pick up useful tips, learn technological techniques. With pleasure perform work in which the goals and methods are clearly stated. Are able to wait patiently. Like in everything thoroughness. Painstaking in labor. Executive and punctual. It is difficult for them to evaluate the quality of their work. EIIs have a great admiration for people who are able to get things done neatly and efficiently in the outside world. They themselves consistently forget to consider whether their activities are actually achieving their intended goal, whether their time spent is bringing worthy proceeds, and whether their activities are organized in the most rational way. They subconsciously expect and appreciate it when others take interest in the effectiveness of their activities and helps to take an objective look at what they are doing. EIIs are usually very curious and thirsty for information. When they have an interest in a particular topic or subject, they will try their best to read anything and everything about it in order to gain a thorough understanding. They are willing to listen to anyone who is knowledgeable or has a brilliant idea to share regardless of whether that individual is an expert or authority in his/her field since they strongly believe that there are many perspectives in an issue.
6) Activating - Si (Introverted Sensing)
Also valuable for EII is information on Sensorics of Comfort. It is difficult to pay constant attention to material and physical properties of objects. Also, because of the characteristic “flying away” into the world of ideas, it may not be easy for him to focus on what is happening “here and now” and take care of everyday life. Often needs help with creating comfort. EIIs can forget about their immediate needs. Therefore, they need help in providing the necessary comfort, in taking care of their health. They are authority-oriented in these matters. They need people and situations to help them relax and take it easy and forget about their idealism for a while to just enjoy the moment as it is.
7) Ignoring - Fe (Extraverted Ethics)
EIIs can become expressive and very lively in groups for brief periods of time, but they always gravitate to deep, focused communication between two people or a small, close-knit group. They tend to shun wildness and prefer serious, more sensitive communication. EIIs are usually very straightforward about their feelings in front of others; what you see from them is what you get. Even at a party where everyone is supposed to be happy, they still find it hard to conceal their true feelings when they are in a bad mood. This can create distaste among the rest who feel that the EII is not cooperating by contributing to the positive and boisterous mood. This tends to lead others who don’t know the EII well to have a misconception that he/she is a grouchy person by nature. He has a refined and rich inner world of experiences and emotions. Emotions of EIIs are deep, experiences are strong, in acute moments they spill out. By taking offense in time or looking reproachfully they can limit unwanted information. When the word does not match the intonation, they immediately hear falseness.
8) Background - Ni (Introverted Intuition)
The individual is quite adept at following discussions on the developments of present trends into the future and at contributing to them on occasion if he feels so inclined, but he does not take that as seriously compared to investigating possibilities in the areas he is interested in at present. The individual is also not naive to future happenings. He will often warn others of negative consequences. In this way, he uses his Ni to help the PoLR of his dual. However, unlike an EIE, he will not often take his own advice nor expect others to. His Se PoLR makes it impossible for him to demand that others heed his advice, and his Ne-ego makes him place more value in the possibility that he is wrong - and that things will play out differently - than in avoiding foreseeable disasters. EII is punctual, feels the passage of time, respects his own time and the time of others. Characteristically, he can often be in the right place at the right time. He is able to anticipate and guess how circumstances will unfold in the development of processes. EII do not talk unnecessarily about time, nevertheless they are not late, value their own and other people's time.
Characters:
Together, the two main lenses of perception work in such a way that the Humanist primarily evaluates people based on their moral qualities, motives, ethical behavior, and emotional intelligence. In relationships and communications, shows flexibility, variability of adjustment, and seeks different approaches and ways to understand the other person. Evaluates not only the current state of affairs, but also the possible potential and options for their development in the future. In matters of ethics and morality (“right / wrong”, “good / evil”, “should / should not”) he is particularly inventive, attentive and meticulous.
Thus, the Humanist is a born educator, teacher, mentor, pediatrician, clergyman, moralist, psychologist, and physician. Like no one else, he is able to penetrate deeply and empathically into the essence of human nature, to feel other people's joys and sorrows, to provide sensitive moral support and empathy, to listen and understand, and to help understand people. And, of course, to bring a little more peace into the world.
