Setting Up your Document

Open Adobe In Design and make a new Document file by going to :

File > New > Document

Match the following settings before clicking OK

What does your final Magazine project look like?

Page 1: Front Cover

Your Magazine cover should cover the entire page extending out to the black outlines of the document. In order to import your picture, the file needs to be a .jpg and you have to go to:

File > Place

Then choose your .jpg image in your name folder and click on the upper left hand corner of your magazine.

Page 2: Article Art

Your Article Art should cover the entire page extending out to the black outlines of the document. In order to import your picture, the file needs to be a .jpg and you have to go to:

File > Place

Then choose your .jpg image in your name folder and click on the upper left hand corner of your magazine.

You must also import the blend file that is in your desktop and place it on top of your picture.

Finally, add a text box and copy a single sentence that is copied from your article.

Page 3: Article

Your article page must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Make a text box for each line of your title and your name. This title must be large and in the following font:

2. Right below your name you will create a thin Rectangle with the rectangle tool and make it any color you want.

3. You must have two columns with your article. Both columns must be the same height and the same width. Use the following settings:

4. Make sure there are not spaces between paragraphs. Use and indent at the beginning of each paragraph.

5. The first word of your article should be size 30 to make it larger.

Page 4: Advertisement

Your Advertisement should cover the entire page extending out to the black outlines of the document. In order to import your picture, the file needs to be a .jpg and you have to go to:

File > Place

Then choose your .jpg image in your name folder and click on the upper left hand corner of your magazine.
