Animation

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of animation and digital multimedia. Students use the skills developed in in visual communications and computer graphics and Advanced Media Productions to enhance and develop their understanding of basic concepts, methods and techniques of computer animation. The course consists of hands-on projects, student presentations, group design challenges, research and readings to enhance students’ creative skills as well as develop their technical knowledge of professional computer animation programs. Students use industry standard software including Adobe After Effects and Cheetah3D to create their animation. This course is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in in art communication, film production, game design, computer animation or graphic design.
