Templar Castle

Templar Castle is a massive stone stronghold rising on a small island south of Edron, just beyond the entrance to the Edron Orc Cave. The fortress stands as a monument to the order that claims it — a place of martial discipline, sacred duty, and unyielding vigilance. A narrow stone bridge connects the mainland to the island, ending at a fortified gate that serves as the sole formal entrance into the castle grounds.

The castle is surrounded by towering stone walls crowned with four massive watchtowers. Each tower carries the banner of the Templar order, moving slowly in the coastal wind like a silent oath sworn to eternity. The ramparts are constantly patrolled by Templars, Cavaliers, and Priests, whose presence ensures that the fortress remains secure both by sword and by faith. At the center of the complex lies a wide courtyard where Heroes train and gather under the watchful eyes of the order.

Below the surface of the castle stretch the underground levels of the fortress, where additional chambers serve the daily needs of the order. There are storage rooms and armories for supplies, stables for mounted warriors, as well as banquet halls where templars gather after campaigns. Hidden deeper within the stone foundation are prison cells used to hold enemies of the order, guarded carefully from both escape and outside rescue.

Legends among the templars say that the island was chosen for a reason. Somewhere beneath the castle is believed to lie a hidden entrance to the heavens — a sacred passage sought relentlessly by the Grand Master of the order, Odo, whose life is devoted to uncovering the path leading beyond the mortal realm.
