The Library of Babel is a NLS that consists of a complex of infinite hexagon shaped rooms, containing tons and tons of bookshelves, containing an infinite quantity of books, which all books in total contain every possible combination of letters found in each page. With enough pages, it is theorized that every combination, intelligible or not is found within this entire library.
Columns hold up each floor, and infinite curved flights of stairs on each floor leads to the next one. Of course, there is an elevator that you must type in a combination of lowercase letters and numbers, you can type up to 3260 letters, in which it will bring you to the hexagonal chamber that corresponds to that combination.
Each chamber contains 4 bookshelves, five shelves on each wall and 32 volumes within each shelf, little lights accompany the chambers to make sure it isn't dark. A website is also used to help along to read the texts online, that being this website. For example, of a text, this particular book matches this entire description. Each chamber also connects to another identical chamber and so on, like a maze. Though, each chamber contains an elevator to navigate easier, and ladders are found to allow you to reach higher bookshelves.
This level also appears to be named after the book of the same name.
With estimated numbers on large the Library of Babel really remains unknown, though a big theory comes there is 10 to the 4677th power books.
Sounds found within The Library of Babel consist of the sounds of books being rustled, sometimes, the source of this cannot be found, or its just your buddy ol' pal looking at weird nonsense on a page. To add on, there can also be the reverberated sound of footsteps, and the rarest thing to happen is that a book may fall out of place if a person is a chamber, though, once exiting the chamber and re-entering, it will return back to its spot. This doesn't happen if you bring the book away from its respective chamber.
The one entity that can be found here in the Library of Babel is Gigi, a fox girl that seems to be looking and browsing for her favorite books. When interacting with her, you can ask her to view random secrets lying in the books, such as the locations of intelligible paragraphs of text and words.
As for other entities, there can be passive Plague Doctors and there can also be Pseudo-Explorers.
The Lights Out Event is a really rare event to occur in the Library of Babel, it is where the entire library will experience a temporary outage, causing all lights to dim, making temporary blackout into the infinite library. This event occurs from 2-5 hours until the lights will come back. This event's dark issue can easily be fixed with an item or mask that can allow light to form.
When walking around in the Library of Babel, make sure you check the floor that you are stepping on, as if the floor is flimsy, which is really rare to happen, but is possible, the floor will break once stepped on a multiple number of times. Falling will result in reaching another floor of infinite bookshelves, though, is high enough to cause serious injury.
