Level 266

Description

Level 266 is the 267th level of the Progressiverooms. It is a foggy, lonely, humid and decrepit forest full of dormant trees, with the ground being covered in dead leaves shed by said trees. Not only are trees present in said level, but also other dead bushes scattered in groups upon the environment. Any sound that emanated in Level 266 will echo like yelling in The Grand Canyon, echoing into oblivion.

Walking around is marked a hazard by The P.A.E., since random holes can be found that serve as pits to trap people, they are covered by flat, flimsy nets of leaves that camouflage with the environment. The best way to pinpoint these holes is to use a branch or any stick and poke at the ground in the direction you are traversing the level in. These sticks can easily dismantle the traps due to how light the nets are.

There is a medium number of entities found here, though, only one type exists, that being Fogxes, which are basically ordinary foxes in the form of an exclusive entity found in Level 266. They are alert of you first, but you can gain their trust by scratching their chin through contact.

Oddly enough, Level 266 is seen as a romantic level despite all the unsettling factors. As said by some explorers, it is mentioned the isolation, and the presence of fog serves as a testament for a romantic encounter for someone. This is oddly common for many upon many who visit Level 266 but isn't controversial.

The extent of the romance theme makes it difficult to even go to structures found in Level 266, only one type in specific is present, those being old sheds, which are made of creaky wood planks. According to a P.A.E. member, sometimes there may be a couple of explorers in the shed making out or some other outrageous act, making it recommended not to approach sheds without caution.

At one point in Level 266 a cliff is found which appears to have a long drop beyond. You can traverse from here by jumping on dangling concrete stars that are badly painted that appear to be hung from an unknown surface from the support of a rope. At the end, you'll reach Level 268.
