lost in hawaii is a non-level space that resembles a somewhat A.I. generated variation of the real-world U.S. state Hawaii. The level is entirely in a monochrome tint, including any explorers that stumble upon it, resulting in any photography being monochrome. Though, since there is a Sun, lost in hawaii is a level which has a type of time cycle, though, 6 hours for day and 6 hours for night.
When you enter you are placed on a road beside a hill, the hill appears to have a few palm trees and plant life, though, on one of the trees there is a "sign" that has unintelligible text and what appears to be three numbers.
A similar sign can also be found by walking a bit from where you begin when you enter lost in hawaii, this being a sign similar to the distorted sign, though, it has the display "greetings !" in scrolling text. Beyond the sign there is also a large boulder sitting in an empty valley, which appears to have the scratchings of various explorers who have scratched words, mostly, their names into the rocks, some, leaving messages or quotes in the boulder itself.
Large, odd, stone walls can also be seen, in a fashion similar to the moai stones as seen on Easter Island, these stone walls don't really have an effect at daytime, but at nighttime, they will mysteriously have carvings of what appears to be some Egyptian hieroglyphic-esque writing, showing off pictures in a form of some type of cipher. It appears that no one is carving it, but the level itself is carving it. Once day comes around again, it will go away.
Beyond a few of the hills seen in lost in hawaii are of course the beaches, indicating it is some sort of island. At the beaches, one can also find what appears to be some beached and abandoned train cars, these train cars contain wooden crates that once opened reveal drinking water that is still fresh. As day and night continues, the train cars will come and go, 'refilling' with new water every day or every night.
As for the vending machine found in lost in hawaii, it is exclusively a man in a tall top hat and suit, who looks like a magician, though, in reality, he just tells you a joke after you give him Currency, then, will give you a random snack from the conventional vending machine pool out of his hat.
When the Rain Gauge is used here, instead of raining forming over lost in hawaii, it will rain ashes like it is snow, causing the level to temporarily be covered in ash snow, the ash appears to be ashes of a volcano, and it mimics snow almost identically, the ash goes away after 2-4 hours. It is quite a deathly effect over lost in hawaii, though, it will only last for 6 hours before it 'clears' into sunny skies.
In order to exit, go the opposite direction on the road from where the 'greetings !' sign is, to eventually walk down the road to meet another sign which says 'thanks!', before the road eventually fades into Level 242.
Press any button of the fake vending machine in False Purgatory.
Go in the opposite direction of the greetings sign on the road, past the thanks sign to enter Level 242.
