Level 290

Description

Level 290 is a labyrinth-like level that appears to be a forever-stretching highway with several overpasses above. It also obstructed with fog, making it a little difficult to explore. Though, one may need some skill just to exit this level overall, maybe, with the use of specific Masks and Items.

First, you'll need to find a stop sign with a plastic chair underneath, which can be found 99% of the time not far from where you find yourself in the level upon entrance. Facing the stop sign, turn to your left and start walking in that direction until you eventually reach another object in the road, that being a tall standing cardboard cutout of a yellow triangular sign, which you can go behind to put your face through it like a carnival cutout.

By doing so, looking through the hole, you may see a new object in the distance, and so, you should approach it. It appears to be a stoplight lodged in the road, at first, you will notice it is not on, you can try to turn it on by electrocuting yourself via touching the inner wires, but hitting with a Tuning Fork mask will instantly allow it to turn on. 

With doing so, a trail of light beams will appear, all of each red, yellow and green colors, which go in any direction, which is arbitrary as you cannot find a typical direction. Following the trail, it'll end in a giant hole, though, the hole isn't that deep, but it is dark. Using a light source or the Spotlight Mask can make it easier, but you'll need to find a card, which this card contains the Toys R' Us logo on it. 

After you get it, walk the direction opposite of the trail you just followed, in which it will end in a single keycard door, putting the card in, you'll be allowed inside to Level 300.

If you instead decide to walk opposite and against the trail of light beams, you'll reach a lonely streetlight underneath one of the overpasses. You must stand under it for a random amount of time (typically 5-30 seconds) before it will instantly teleport you in the blink of an eye to Level 316.
