Video calls serve several important purposes in the contexts mentioned:
Mismatch Information: In cases where there is conflicting or mismatched information provided by a customer, a video call can help resolve discrepancies directly. This ensures accurate data and compliance with regulations.
Possible Government Employee: If we suspect that a player might be or could possibly be a government employee, a video call will help confirm their employment status. Since we are unable to allow government employees to have an account with us, this step is necessary for verification.
Request to Change Email Address: Changing an email address to an account often requires verification to prevent unauthorized access. A video call confirms the identity of the requester and adds an additional layer of security.
Request to Change Mobile Number: Changing a mobile number associated with an account via video call verifies that the person making the request is the legitimate account holder. This prevents unauthorized changes and ensures account security.
In summary, video calls are crucial in these scenarios because they provide a direct and secure method to verify identity, resolve discrepancies, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They enhance security measures and instill confidence in the authenticity of customer interactions and requests.
