Spectator Mode allows a player to watch a game without actively participating or buying in.
Steps to Enter Spectator Mode:
When a player joins a table, the experience will vary depending on how the table is accessed:
1. Joining via the "Group" filter:
If the selected room is already full, the system will automatically route the player to a new vacant room.
In this case, Spectator Mode is not available, as the player is placed into an open table instead of observing a full one.
However, if the room is not full, the player can still observe the game without buying in by closing the buy-in prompt, and choose to participate at any time.
2. Joining via the "Table" filter (selecting a specific room):
If the selected room is full, the player will enter Spectator Mode, where they can watch and observe the game or wait for a vacant seat to become available.
If the room is not full, the player can still observe the game without buying in by closing the buy-in prompt, and choose to participate when ready.
In Spectator Mode, players can view detailed statistics for other players by clicking on a specific player's avatar or seat.
This opens the HUD.
What is HUD?
HUD stands for Heads-Up Display. It shows real-time statistics that help analyze player behavior and performance at the table.
HUD Information Includes:
Total Games Played – The total number of Poker Royal games the player has joined.
Total Hands Played – The number of hands the player has been dealt across all games.
VPIP (Voluntarily Put Money in Pot) – Indicates how often a player enters the pot preflop. A higher percentage suggests a looser playstyle.
AWP (Average Won Pot) – Shows the average size of pots the player has won, giving insight into their typical win profile.
This data helps spectators understand playing styles and table dynamics without actively participating in the game.
