Extensions are due on November 7th at 11:59 PM EST!
DUNGEON:
With the celebration of the Mid Autumn Festival comes a brand new dungeon to explore! A perpetually bright and full moon hangs over the dark hill, making it just a smidge brighter for your exploration. As a cool, northern wind blows in and makes the leaves fall, autumn is finally in full effect! Bathed under the light of the moon and stars, you can see the inhabitants of the dungeon enjoying each other's company, stargazing, moongazing, and eating lots of good treats!
Forests and smaller hills surround the largest hill, making a clearing that gives you the best place to look at the moon! Tell stories with the dungeons inhabitants and enjoy a nice, easygoing dungeon stroll!
[ The images below are loosely for inspiration on how to depict the dungeon and other Holiday Hills environments. These are primarily optional, so feel free to come up with your own interpretations while keeping to the overall theme of the event! ]
There are 5 special Seasonal Variants in this dungeon; featuring returning variants across different years and seasons!
If you recruit any Seasonal Variant Pokemon, their feral design must be somewhat similar to the reference! If you wish to deviate slightly from its design, you must post it in the #design-check channel for approval. However, once they evolve, their design is up to you!
For more on Variants, see the Potions & Variants page!

Read this section for information on creating and submitting a dungeon for Holiday Hills!
✨ Like a regular dungeon, a Holiday Hills dungeon consists of:
a maximum of 4 characters belonging to a team
requirements for art pieces including a background
requirements for written pieces having a word count of at least 500 words
✨ There are no level requirements in Holiday Hills, so characters of all levels are permitted!
✨ Unlike a regular dungeon, characters do not gain levels and teams cannot use items! Post-dungeon items like Poke Radars or Encounter Swaps can be used afterwards however!
✨ Use the Holiday Hills Dungeon Grader to submit your work -- just like you would submit a regular dungeon!
✨ Variant Recruits gained from Holiday Hills cannot be altered using other Potions or Juices for a minimum of 3 months!
✨ As always, please put genuine effort into your work! Spamming low-effort or otherwise rushed work in an attempt to "grind" is highly discouraged and may result in a warning if abused!
✨ Be sure to check the Earning Poke guide to see what counts as a simple or complex dungeon background, and for requirements for characters to be counted as a part of a piece for rewards!
🍬 To see how much Candy you should be receiving for your work, see the Holiday Hills page!
Unless otherwise state, these event prompts are for characters in gijinka/humanoid form!
Prompts done with ferals will not count for Candy but can be submitted for Poke!
It's time to party with everyone! Why not dress up to celebrate the occasion? Will you go with something more traditional or perhaps a bit on the cozier side? Either way, show us what your planning on wearing for the event!

Not feeling the moon viewing celebrations? No worries! There's plenty of costumes and ghoulish behavior to go around! Will you dress up as something more traditional like a witch or a ghost, or will you perhaps bother Chronos and Tempo for some fun costumes from the future? Whatever you decide to do, make sure you do it with style!

[Members are free to have characters where costumes inspired by popular media!]
Grab your friends, family, or loved ones and head out into the clearing to watch the beautiful moon! It's important while viewing to be thankful for bountiful harvests, and to remember the countless ancient legends surrounding the moon! Plus, it's just pretty!
As this year's Mid Autumn Festival comes in full swing, there's plenty to do around Holiday Hills! Will you attempt to make mooncakes for yourself and friends? Devour said mooncakes? Or maybe you prefer to decorate lanterns and walk around with them on full display? There may even be some of the dungeon's inhabitants telling stories of the mythical "Moon Rabbit"! Or maybe you'll be open to the opportunities for matchmaking-- a chance to find out who your sweetheart may be! No matter how you choose to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival, there's plenty for everyone to engage in!
Once again, Chronos is hosting a lovely party within Holiday Hills! Those invited are encouraged to dress for the occasion, bring friends and family, and enjoy some good eats, mooncakes, and the company of others! The event will take place outside the dungeon in a clearing so everyone can get an excellent view of the moon. Be sure to dress warmly! It's starting to get a little chilly!
Artwork, literature pieces, and private RPs are allowed for this, but we will also be hosting an RP Event from October 1st to October 31st (11:59PM EST). For those who actively participate in the RP and log 500 words for each participant, you'll be awarded 750 bonus candy for every RP submitted! RPs MUST be in threads over in #event-rp in order for it to count for the bonus. If you wish to join someone's RP, be sure to ask before hopping in!
You may ask for extensions for event RPs!
