Breaks, Lunches, and Off-the-Phone Work-Related Activities:
Each shift includes two scheduled 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Additionally, any off-the-phone, work-related activities must be logged in Rippling.
This ensures you are accurately compensated for all paid activities.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Clock-In with Rippling
Follow the steps below to successfully complete the break process in Rippling.
At the start of any break, lunch, or work-related activity that requires stepping away from the phones (such as huddles, coaching sessions, or tech issues), access the Timeclock and click the three dots in the bottom right corner of the Timeclock box.
Then, select 'Take Break' from the drop-down menu.
This will populate the available break options.
Select the appropriate break based on the schedule or activity you are about to begin.
Then, click 'Take Break' to confirm the start of the break.
This completes the break process in Rippling.
Rippling Break Options
Certain break options are designated for specific activities to ensure accurate timekeeping and proper compensation for all work-related tasks.
Selecting the correct break type helps confirm that time spent on activities such as meetings, coaching sessions, or technical issues is recorded correctly and paid appropriately.
