How to Create Your EngageCX Gmail & Accessing Google Chat Â
In your browser, type 'Google Chat sign in' and press 'Enter'
Click on 'Google Chat - Sign In | Google Workspace'
Select 'Create account'Â
Choose option 'For personal use'
Enter the first and last name you used for your EngageCX application or contract, then click 'Next'Â
Enter your Date of Birth and Gender, then click 'Next'
Choose “Create your own Gmail address” and enter your EngageCX email in this format:
firstname + first 3 letters of last name + ecx@gmail.com
Example: johnsmiecx@gmail.comÂ
Click 'Next'
Create a password. Write it down somewhere secure (not on your computer).Â
Enter a recovery email and phone number, then click 'Next'
Review all info for accuracy and click 'Next'Â
Then click 'I Agree' to the Privacy & Terms if you accept
You’re now in Google Chat—please ensure you are signed into the correct account.Â
Click the circle with your initial in the top right corner of Google Chat.Â
This will open the Google Chat Account Settings.Â
Confirm the email at the top is your EngageCX email.Â
If it’s not, switch to the correct one listed below.Â
Once confirmed, close the account menu by clicking the 'X' in the top right corner.Â
You’re now ready to follow the steps to join the correct chat room for your campaign.Â
