Go on a walk with a partner and find signs as you walk or look out a window and find signs. Example: stop, caution, welcome, etc.Take pictures of these signs (if available) and start to consider the following questions:

What elements and characteristics were used in this media to get the message across?
Who would have created this sign? Would they also use other forms of media to get their message across?
After your walk take time to look back at the signs and write your answers to those questions down for each sign.Â
