Go on a walk with a family member and find signs as you walk or look out a window to find words. Example: stop, caution, welcome, etc. Take pictures of these signs and start to consider the following questions:
Who is this message for?
What is the intention for the message?
Why would there need to be a sign there?
What elements and characteristics were used in the sign to get the message across?
After your walk take time to look back at the signs and write your answers to those questions down for each sign.
