Directors of Research are the head of the Scientific Department. Chosen by the Overseer of the Scientific Department, Directors of Research are involved in significant decisions for the department, as both part of High Command and Central Command. It’s the Directors of Research’s job, alongside High Command, to make sure the department is sufficiently operational.

They are handpicked directly by the Directors of Research+ for their excellent judgment, their effort within ScD, and et cetera. As the main body of the High Command, they partake in the management of the Medium Command, take part in discussions regarding more fundamental/major changes, and more.

Through commitment, recognition of their competence, and training, researchers can be invited to Medium Command by the High Command. They are tasked with grading, hosting events, managing permission requests, partaking in crucial debates, and more.Â

Dr. Adam is an ideologist, anomaly theorist and self-proclaimed theoretical physician. Former member of Communist Party USA (CPUSA) in 1919. He is known as an expert of SCP-049. Cold-hearted, sadistic and sometimes impatient, but with a good heart. Extremely loyal to The Foundation.
Born in Ohio in the late 1890s. As a child, he was found in a river and was later adopted by two Caucasian farmer parents. He was assigned to PATHOS-III Installation as a Foundation Researcher in 2024. Currently psychologically possessed by SCP-████, and is therefore immortal.
