Meito

Overview:

Meito are renowned weapons and armor pieces known for their exceptional quality and unique attributes. These items are typically named and either carry a significant history or are currently forging a history of their own. 

Meito items are considered "Haki Infused" for the purposes of overcoming Logia reflexes and standard (non-universal) damage reduction.

Meito Weapons

Base Attributes:

• Haki Infused: Meito weapons are treated as haki infused for the purpose of overcoming damage resistances and immunities.

• Unique Design: Each Meito weapon is uniquely designed and crafted by skilled artisans, often reflecting the wielder's style and abilities.

• Innate Quality: Meito weapons have an innate +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.

Special Feature:

Haki Channeling: As a bonus action, you may spend 1 energy to channel your haki into the weapon, changing the weapon's damage type to the type of your elemental affinity. If you have no elemental affinity, this weapon deals force damage. This bonus lasts until the end of your next turn.

Tier System:

Tier 1 (Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 5

Base Bonus: +1 to attack and damage rolls.

Special Attribute: Basic Haki Channeling.

Tier 2 (Skillful Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 7

Base Bonus: +2 to attack and damage rolls.

Special Attribute: Enhanced Haki Channeling (lasts for 2 turns).

Tier 3 (Great Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 9

Base Bonus: +3 to attack and damage rolls.

Special Attribute: Advanced Haki Channeling (lasts for 3 turns).

Add an extra 1d6 damage of your elemental affinity to attacks when Channeling.

Tier 4 (Supreme Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 11

Base Bonus: +4 to attack and damage rolls.

Special Attribute: Supreme Haki Channeling (lasts for 4 turns)

Grants an additional attack when channeling.

Meito Armor

Base Attributes:

• Haki Infused: Meito armor provides superior protection and resilience, treated as haki infused for the purpose of overcoming damage resistances and immunities.

• Unique Design: Each piece of Meito armor is uniquely designed and crafted by skilled artisans, often reflecting the wearer's style and abilities.

• Innate Quality: Meito armor provides superior protection and resilience.

Special Feature:

Grade Resilience: Critical hits against the wearer become normal hits when struck by non-Meito weapons.

Tier System:

Tier 1 (Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 5

Base Bonus: +1 to AC.

Special Attribute: Basic Grade Resilience.

Tier 2 (Skillful Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 7

Base Bonus: +2 to AC.

Special Attribute: Enhanced Grade Resilience (grants resistance to non-haki-infused B/P/S).

Tier 3 (Great Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 9

Base Bonus: +3 to AC.

Special Attribute: Advanced Grade Resilience (Grants resistance to Haki infused B/P/S).

Tier 4 (Supreme Grade):

Upgrade Slots: 11

Base Bonus: +4 to AC.

Special Attribute: Supreme Grade Resilience (grants immunity to non-haki-infused B/P/S and resistance to one haki-infused damage of your choice).

CRITICALS WITH MEITOS

Meito Armor makes Critcal Hits normal hits regardless of whether or not it's Haki-infused. The exception to this is Meito Weapons, which will still crit on the same or lower tiered meito armor.

By spending 3DT per check you may make progress towards upgrading or crafting a Meito.

Any Upgrades currently applied are upgraded by 1 tier if they are able. 

(This does not include upgrades attained through features)

All checks are reduced per your level in Conqueror's Haki

(40, 60, 80 and 100 Respectively)

ARMOR TYPE REQUIREMENTS

When making Meito armor, different materials either make the process easier, requiring less material to work, or speed the amount of time needed up, reducing the CG cost. 

| Heavy Armor: |Crafting goal is reduced by 50

| Medium Armor: | Crafting goal reduced by 30 and materials needed is reduced by 1

| Light Armor: | Materials needed are reduced by 2

SIZE OF WEAPONS OR ARMOR

Size also changes the amount of materials needed for the crafting of weapons or armor. If you get a decimal after calculating, always round up to signify extra materials that needed to be used to craft your armor.

POI

You may choose to level up a Meito via a POI bypassing the requirements of crafting goal, Meito feat and Haki requirement.

Feat Upgrading

When upgrading with the Meito feats, you may add three additional points to all crafting limits and gain access to a single Tier 3 property, This property doesn't count towards your property limit, showcasing your mastery.

Feat Crafting

When Crafting a Meito you create an item that possesses one Tier 4 property and one additional property form the Properties list.

CURSED ITEMS

All cursed Items are Considered Meito of the related Tier for the sake of critical hit and attacks.
