Bucaneer

Buccaneers are a nearly-extinct special race of humanoids taller than average humans but smaller than giants.

Ability Score Increase: Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.

Size: Buccaneers stand between 8 and 24 feet. Your size is large.

Speed: Your base walking and swimming speed are 35ft. 

Natural Athlete: You have proficiency in the Athletics skill. If your already proficient in this skill you gain expertise.

Ancient Lore: You have proficiency in the History skill. If you are already proficient in this skill you gain expertise.

Endurance: You gain an additional 2 hit points per level. At level 5, you can focus yourself to withstand injury. When you take damage, you can choose to roll a d12 and add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled, then reduce the damage by that total. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your Constitution Modifier. At level 11, you can roll 2d12 instead of 1d12 when determining the damage reduction.

Powerful Build: You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
