Influence can be gained through a DT activity performed by an adventurer with the Captain crew role. It costs 3 DT points & you may use your Persuasion, Intimidation or Deception skill check roll for the activity.
Influenced Economy
Your crew gains 45,000 Berri weekly. Berri gained this way is is given on time weekly, how it is used or split among the crew is decided upon by the crew.
Threshold 0/200
Headquarters
Your crew gains a special thread in the Influenced island. Your crew gains a +5 to all DTA activities done on the specific island being claimed. This island becomes "friendly" to you in terms of ship building and other DTA that might require a friendly island to perform.
Threshold 0/300
(Note: This does not effect Influence rolls.)
Island Guardian
This is a custom passive offered to the crew based on what island you have fully influenced. Upon reaching this threshold Captain's will work with admins and content team for passive benefits.
Depending on if the Island is inhabited or not you will gain one of the following titles, as well as be able to build a stronghold on the island.
Inhabited Islands:
Island Patrons
Description: You have won over the people of the island through your kindness or your cruelty. The island's inhabitants view you as either benevolent protectors or fearsome rulers, granting you special passive benefits based on your relationship with them.
Threshold: 0/400
Uninhabited Islands:
Island Stewards
Description: You have set up the infrastructure to begin building a main stronghold. With no local population to sway, your efforts focus on establishing a formidable base of operations that can grow into a significant power center.
Threshold: 0/400
The Threshold for these these Influence ranks increases by 200 when you try to influence islands in Paradise, as does the maximum. When you get to the New World, each threshold increases again by 400. However, for each island in the Grand Line, and in the New World, you must de-influence the island first, from a threshold of 300 for Paradise islands, and 600 for New World Islands. Influencing does not denote power or control over an island in any way, it is merely your crew’s reputation among the denizens or creatures of that island. Think Crocodile with Alabasta as a true hero (before his attempted domination) or Mihawk with Kuraigana Island as a true villain (where the Mandrill’s would not mess with him, and even took after his way of swordsmanship).
Note: To encourage PVP and to make it not impossible to de-influence an Island, the maximum threshold capacity of influence of an island is 500/500.
De-Influence
Influence can be wielded to diminish another crew's reputation and control over an island. The cost to de-influence is 3 DT points, and you may utilize your Persuasion, Intimidation, or Deception skill check roll for this activity. It's crucial to note that this action cannot reduce the influence below zero. Just like how Captains and First Mates can influence, only they can work towards de-influencing an island. Also if the Crew has a Completed Stronghold on the island you are attempting to de-influence, then you can not de-influence until the Stronghold has been Captured or Destroyed.
Note: *If your crew is allied with an NPC faction that holds sway over an island, your d20 skill roll is doubled (along with any modifiers) until the influence threshold is brought down to zero.
The Baratie, Thriller Bark, and Germa Kingdom CANNOT be influenced at this time.
