One Journey Character Sheet:
Step 1: Lineage Roll
• Before starting character creation. You must ping an Admin in order to roll for your Lineage. You do this by inputting the command !r 5d100 in lineage-roll after pinging one of the following Staff @Gorosei , @GM , or @Content .
Adventurers and the well known people that make their mark on the One Piece world more often then not, have a lucky draw from the deck of fate that alters the course of their destiny forever. What card will you draw, if any?
Note: this can be attempted only once per character per player to prevent spamming characters for a chance at a lineage. The exception is when creating a character with a new character slot, and character death. you may re-roll stats prior to character approval once a week.
Note: This is a world that takes place in an altered universe with canon materials of the world still in place. We ask that you refrain from creating a character and backstory that is involved with canon characters and serious organizations such as the celestial dragons.
Please be aware that LINEAGE AND STAT ROLLS WITHOUT A STAFF MEMBER PRESENT WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
Step 2: Determining Your Ability Scores
You have two options for determining ability scores:
Rolling for Stats: Roll two sets in the rolling stats channel with avrae while a mod is present to verify your rolls. (Command is !threshold)
React to Lock: React with 1 or 2 to Lock Those Stats In!
Step 3: Select Your Race, Class, and Techniques
Consult the resources mentioned in step 1 to select a race, class, and techniques that suit your character. These choices significantly impact your core gameplay features.
Step 4: Choosing a Background, Faction, and Feat
Determine your character's background, which provides bonuses, proficiencies, and items. As part of this step, select one Feat of your choice for which you qualify.
Choose a faction: Pirate, Marine, or Bounty Hunter. This choice influences how your character interacts with the world and the adventures available to them.
Step 5: Starting Gear and Items
Every character begins with the items and Berri specified in their background, along with the following:
30,000 Berry
A Rowboat
A Backpack
60 ft. of Rope
During and after character creation you can purchase items from the Sea Port Store at the prices listed in the items tab in the players handbook to determine your starting gear. Post character creation you are required to post purchases in the sheet.
Step 6: Submit your Sheet
After completing your character sheet, post it in sheet submissions channel. From there, it will be reviewed by a sheet checker to be approved.
Note: You recieve 20 DT upon completion and approval of your character.
Leveling Up
As you participate in missions, you will earn AP (ADVENTURE POINTS). The amount of AP needed to level up is as follows:
Level 2: 9 AP
Level 3: 12 AP
Level 4: 15 AP
Levels 5-8: 18 AP
Levels 9-12: 21 AP (You cannot pass Level 12 until you reach the Ocean Floor)
Levels 13-16: 24 AP
Levels 17-18: 27 AP
Level 19: 30 AP
Level 20: 35 AP
Other Notes
Character Slots: You start with one character slot and gain more as you progress. You may spend 20 AP in order to unlock a second character slot, 30 for a 3rd, 40 for a 4th, and 50 for a 5th.
Character Death Benefit
When your character dies, much of the work you put in has turned to nothing. This is an unfortunate side-effect of the game, though we have set some rules to mitigate the pain and loss for when you create a new character.
When you are creating a new character, you are allowed to create the character at half the level (rounded up) of the previous character within that slot. This does not apply to character retirement, only death, as retirement is a choice.
When you submit this character, please post whether this benefit applies to your character, along with proof of your character's death.
