Primalists who follow the Path of the Beast embrace their inner animal, transforming into powerful beasts and gaining feral abilities.
Primal Transformation (3rd level)
At 3rd level, you can use your action to transform into a beast that you have seen before, with a challenge rating of 5 or lower. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Your game statistics are replaced by the statistics of the beast, but you retain your alignment, personality, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature.
When you transform, you assume the beast’s hit points and Hit Dice. When you revert to your normal form, you return to the number of hit points you had before you transformed. If you revert as a result of dropping to 0 hit points, any excess damage carries over to your normal form.
You can't use special techniques or brawl techniques that your beast form could not normally perform, such as wielding weapons or firearms.
Your ability to speak or take any action that requires hands is limited to the capabilities of your beast form.
You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them if your beast form is physically capable of doing so. However, you can't use any of your special senses, such as darkvision, unless your beast form also has that sense.
You retain your Energy Points and Energy Dice, and you can spend Energy Points to use abilities and techniques that your beast form is capable of performing.
Feral Instincts (3rd level)
At 3rd level, your instincts sharpen, and you gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell or hearing.
Feral Reflexes (7th level)
At 7th level, your reflexes become razor-sharp. You gain advantage on initiative rolls and can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on an attack roll made against you.
additionally you can now transform into a beast that you have seen before, with a challenge rating of 12 or lower.
Bestial Resilience (9th level)
At 9th level, your connection to your beast form grants you enhanced resilience. While transformed into a beast, you gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non-haki infused attacks.
While in beast form, you gain a +5 bonus to passive Perception and Investigation checks.
Savage Attacks (13th level)
At 13th level, your attacks become more ferocious. When you hit with a melee attack while in beast form, you can roll one of the weapon's damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the attack.
While in beast form, you can take the Dash or Disengage action as a bonus action.
Master of Beasts (17th level)
At 17th level, your mastery of beast forms allows you to transform with greater ease and power. You gain the following benefits:
You can use your Primal Transformation an unlimited number of times.
You can transform into beasts with a challenge rating as high as 30.
While transformed, your attacks count as haki-infused for the purpose of overcoming resistance and Logia reflex.
