A small girl stares onwards, faced with an impossible foe before her, a logia type Devil Fruit user. She grins slightly as she hardens her fist and slams it into the man's firey body. He doubles over in pain ... and surprise.
A man with glasses adjusts them to sit properly on the crook of his nose while the ship sways beneath him. He closes his eyes, exhales and then his eyes shoot open "Pull it hard left." The ship veers quickly to the side as a massive Sea King emerges from the water.
Haki is an absolute essential for anyone to survive on the seas and even more so when venturing into the unknown. Haki Master's understand the importance of this power and train to tap into its full potential and manifest it in powerful and unique ways.
Character Inspirations
This class is designed with the intent of allowing players to dive into the raw untapped power of Haki in the One Piece world. While many don't encounter this power until much later in their journeys the Haki Master has heard of, or discover it very early and trained to awaken it.
There are many that would fall under the category of a Haki Master. Figures such as Charlotte Katakuri, Rayleigh, and Gol D. Roger would all be considered Haki Masters.
Haki Masters can expect to be able to gain access to a chosen type of Haki early and to be able to use it better than anyone else once others discover this power.

Haki Specialty
Starting at 1st level, you have spent countless hours mastering a particular type of Haki. Choose between the Battering Armament, Hardening Armament, Precognitive Observation, and Empathetic Observation subclasses. Your choice grants you additional abilities at levels 3, 6, 10, 17, and 20.
Secret Technique
Also at level 1, create a custom technique using the "Custom Technique Creation" rules using the amount of points equal to the highest technique rank you are capable of. This technique does not count against your total techniques known. Your technique gains the Haki Channeling prereq keyword and can add a single effect from one of the following depending on your Haki Specialty at half the original point cost: Offensive Armament (Battering Armament), Defensive Armament (Hardening Armament), Offensive Observation (Empathetic Observation), or Defensive Observation (Precognitive Observation). A number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest you may upcast your Secret Technique with Haki at no energy cost, if your technique cannot be upcast then it reduces the energy cost equal to your proficiency bonus. At levels 11 and 15 you gain an additional Haki Effect that you qualify for to add to your Secret Technique at half the point cost. Whenever you gain a level in this class you may change your Secret Technique.
Example: When you choose Defensive Observation and take 2 instances of this, you add the technique point cost together (+8 and +6 equals +14 points) and then divide the TOTAL by 2. (14/2= 7 total technique points)
Raw Haki Channeling
At level 2, your connection and dedication to the mastery of Haki has developed a unique form of unfiltered Haki called Raw Haki. When unleashed it can be altered into devastating effects. You gain a resource called Raw Haki Points of which you have 3 points and gain more as your level in Haki Master increases, as shown in the class table. Once per day you regain half your Raw Haki on a Short Rest and all of it on a Long Rest. Additionally you learn 2 ways to channel Raw Haki called Raw Haki Channeling and learn more ways to channel it as your Haki Master level increases. Your selection for Raw Haki Channeling can be changed upon gaining a level in Haki Master. The selection of Raw Haki Channeling can be found at the end of the class.
