Unfortunately the end of summer has come. Since I didn't send out an August or July newsletter I'll break both months down here.

In the beginning of August we decided to go ahead and invite people to register for this project. First board members, then people on the newsletter list then the master list. So far we have Registered: 14 units; 25 people; 6 room apartment only: 5; DDA funds: 8; 7% to goal out of 200 units. It is posted here on the website. Bottom of page. We have 44 people on the newsletter list now, with the addition of people who are on the registered list. If everybody registered with a loved one, We would have about 88 units registered or about 1/2 of the total complex. Please register for you and your loved one separately. Spread the word. This should help with grants or funding.

July 2024 We sent in the Annual Report to the state & filed Form 990N with the IRS. Continued with grant writing or sending out letters of inquiry. Some foundations do not let you apply first, they want a letter of inquiry first to see if what we want to do is related to their grants. We sent in a grant to Tulalip Cares for a $2000 grant for operating expenses. Continue to work on the Letter of inquiries, one for DVA, operating expenses and the last for land. Also working to update the YouTube video for this project.

Added articles to Facebook. Sent letter of inquiry to Mr. Beast, Russell, Nysether Family Foundation, Schultz Family Foundations and Kuni Foundation for DVA funds. DVA funds will be 30k euros. I messed up and missed the deadline for a grant from the Kuni Foundation by one day that was for housing. I didn't see it till after the day it was supposed to have gone in. We record what we have been doing each month on the old website. Go to About US in the new website, scroll to the bottom, find the old website then go to Progress.
