I want to welcome a new board member, Nicole Tebow; with Charles Wigle and myself, we now have three board members to go forward. We will have our first board meeting on the 8th of September, when we will officially admit the new board members and the Bylaws. After this I will submit the forms to get tax exemption. And after we get 501 (c)(3) status we can then look for grants and actually nothing is stopping us from looking for land either. It would have to be a donation to the non profit. I am not sure how that works, when it comes to acquiring land when you don't have any money for closing costs, but I'm sure we can figure it out. Land needs to be 3-5 acres or larger with at least one side zoned for business in the SW Snohomish area (Lynnwood, Bier, Edmonds, South Everett, Bothell).
