What is the role of an enzyme?
Enzymes are biological catalysts, predominantly made up of proteins.
Their primary function is to accelerate the rate of chemical reactions without itself being chemically changed at the end of the process.
Did you know that there are many daily products that we consume, which uses enzymes? For example, lactose-free milk and even in biosensors!
