The microscope enables us to view beautiful biological specimens that are not visible to the naked eye, and it is an instrument that should be handled with care. It is important to be familiar with the various parts of the microscope and know how to use it correctly to view a specimen clearly.

(Note: The video shows that the stage should be at its lowest position at the start but we prefer to start at the highest position. This is to reduce the risk of the stage knocking the objective lens, as the only way for the stage to move is downward.)
