John 21:15-17
Jesus Knows All Things
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Mark 7:31-37
31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. 32 There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.
33 After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. 34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him,“Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). 35 At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.
36 Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. 37 People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”
John 1:3
Through Jesus All Things Have Been Made
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
Luke 5:22
Jesus Knows What We are Thinking
22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?."
John 14:6
Jesus Stood Up and Says, He is Truth
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Matthew 26:1-5
The Plot to Kill Jesus
1 When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he said to his disciples, 2 “As you know, the Passover is two days away—and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people assembled in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, 4 and they schemed to arrest Jesus secretly and kill him. 5 “But not during the festival,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”
Jesus knows all things...He knows everything about us...He knows everything about everyone...He even knows what we are thinking...A Man who knows all things, yet, He is humble...I believe that if One knew all things, and One knew everything about each person on earth, and even knew what we are thinking -it would be very, very difficult to be humble...
Jesus is astute, with infinite insight, full of wisdom, and possesses all knowledge...Through Jesus all things have been made...Without Him nothing could have been made...He is the best of man...Unlike Jesus, when man shows flashes of brilliance and we have great insight, we seem to innately and externally get our brilliance out and the difficult task or tasks we have done come to light...The talented ones most often have a moment of fame...
Jesus is not like this...Often when He did something great, He did not want others to tell anyone...Yes, it could have been because it was early in His ministry and He did not want the Romans and Jewish leaders watching Him early on, but He is so unique greatness and the subject of greatness...Jesus wanted to teach everyone about His Father, and to share in His Father's glory...Jesus did not want to become famous, yet He became just that...He has the most recognized name in the world...And while many of fame try to show others what they have accomplished, Jesus never did this...In all the four gospels we
He could have written a book, but He didn't...And couldn't have He written a Book, of all books?...Had He wrote a Book, what would it be worth?...What a sacred and holy item it would be...That Book that He could have written, would have been an item we might worship (and why not)...We might want to see and want to touch His Book and worship it, instead of Him and His Father...
And in all of His teachings He never tried to be politically correct, because He is Absolutely Correct, because He is Truth...He somehow humbly stood up and said He is Truth (I think He is the Only One who could do something like that)...He spoke and taught the Truth even though the Sanhedrin, the Pharisees, and the teachers of the law were against His ministry...The High Priest looked at ways to have Jesus killed...But Jesus did not change Himself, or what He taught about, or how He taught...Jesus remains unchanged by those against Him, even though they ranked high in their political circles...
We as men have a way of expressing ourselves in getting out the information on the great task we have completed...Jesus is humble...His teachings were never about Him...When we look at all He can do, and what He did on earth, and in heaven, many thoughts and words come to mind...But we must think about Him as being Almighty...Yet, through all the things He knows and can do and has done, He is the most humble Man, if it is fair to call Him a Man, that has ever walked the earth...
