Only God is Good
18 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone."
If one does not believe in God then I think they have difficulty in explaining thoughts of love, faith, hope, Truth, ethics, human rights, morality, meaning of life, forgiveness, goodness, and mercy...These things are not material things, but are intangible things which cannot be touched and often difficult to see...Since you cannot see all these things, you might say, if you do not believe in God that they are imaginary...Both the non-believer and believer should ask themselves where did these intangibles of goodness originate?...While the non-believer probably will answer they are all random events, the believer sees God in these good things...
