Love Comes from God
19 We love because he first loved us.
Two of God's attributes are goodness and love...Goodness and love comes from God...God created or began goodness, and we love because He loved us first...God and Jesus were here from the beginning, so love and goodness has always been here...This means that God has loved from the very beginning...He has always loved us...He has loved us, prior to our birth, so He loved us first...
Can one have faith if there is not goodness and love?...I do not think so...If fear, evil, and hate ruled our world, and personal lives would there be faith...When we look at reasons why people have faith, many times if not most of the time it is derived or comes from love...God is Love...This love and He loved us first, maybe the reason we have our faith, and love Him...We are drawn to Him by this Love, His Love, and that is why we seek Him...His Love from the beginning of time, is the start of our faith, and the foundation of our belief in Him...
I am not sure one can attain goodness, with love...Love is the foundation for many things, if not everything...God has the great attribute of perfect forgiveness...For man it is different...As I have lived and seen and worked with different people, their goodness, makes them easier for me to love...
Man cannot be great without love and goodness...And our LORD has all the attributes of goodness of love in Him from the beginning...He knows that every great man is full of goodness and love...For whoever lives in God, loves God, and is full of love...
